Bay Area ARMY – the wait is over! BTS has officially announced their massive 2026-2027 World Tour, and the San Francisco Bay Area is getting not two, but THREE nights with the Bangtan Boys! Mark your calendars for May 16, 17 & 19, 2026 as all seven members bring their historic reunion to Stanford Stadium.
The third Stanford date was just added due to overwhelming fan demand – proof that Bay Area ARMY showed up! These shows are part of the first North American leg of the ‘ARIRANG’ tour, meaning you’ll experience BTS when energy is at its peak, just weeks after the new album drops.
The BTS WORLD TOUR ‘ARIRANG’ is officially the largest K-pop tour ever assembled, now featuring 81 shows across 34 cities worldwide. The tour supports their fifth studio album (releasing March 20, 2026) and features a revolutionary 360-degree in-the-round stage design that places fans at the center of the experience.
This marks BTS’s first headline performances since their 2021-2022 ‘Permission to Dance on Stage’ tour – their long-awaited reunion after all seven members completed South Korea’s mandatory military service.

BTS (Bangtan Sonyeondan, meaning “Beyond The Scene”) is a seven-member South Korean group that transformed K-pop into a global phenomenon. Debuting in 2013 under Big Hit Entertainment (now HYBE), the group – RM, Jin, Suga, J-Hope, Jimin, V, and Jungkook – pioneered the modern era of Korean pop music. They became the first K-pop act to top the Billboard Hot 100, sell out US stadiums, and earn Grammy nominations. Their fanbase, ARMY, spans every continent and represents one of the most engaged fan communities in entertainment history.
After nearly four years apart while completing South Korea’s mandatory military service, all seven members have reunited. Suga was the last to complete his service (as a social service agent due to a shoulder injury) in June 2025. The group began recording their fifth studio album in July 2025, channeling years of personal growth into new music that reflects their journey.

The San Francisco Bay Area is one of only a handful of cities to receive three shows on the North American leg:
BTS becomes only the second musical act to perform at Stanford Stadium, following Coldplay’s inaugural concerts there in 2025. The venue’s intimate size compared to other stadium stops means exceptional sightlines for this in-the-round production.
RM (Kim Nam-joon) – Leader, main rapper, and producer whose introspective lyrics have defined BTS’s artistic identity. Solo album “Indigo” (2022) featured collaborations with Erykah Badu, Anderson .Paak, and Pharrell Williams.
Jin (Kim Seok-jin) – Eldest member and vocalist known for his powerful voice and humor. First to enter and complete military service. His emotional solo “The Astronaut” with Coldplay became a farewell anthem before enlistment.
Suga (Min Yoon-gi) – Rapper, songwriter, and prolific producer. His alter ego “Agust D” released the critically acclaimed trilogy culminating in “D-Day” (2023) and a sold-out solo world tour.
J-Hope (Jung Ho-seok) – Main dancer and rapper whose energy ignites every stage. Made history as the first South Korean artist to headline Lollapalooza (2022). Solo album “Jack in the Box” showcased his musical range.
Jimin (Park Ji-min) – Lead vocalist and dancer whose solo album “FACE” debuted at #1 on Billboard 200. Known for his contemporary dance skills and deep emotional connection with fans.
V (Kim Tae-hyung) – Vocalist with a distinctive deep baritone. Solo album “Layover” (2023) explored jazz and R&B influences. Also pursuing acting alongside music.
Jungkook (Jeon Jung-kook) – Main vocalist, lead dancer, and youngest member. His 2023 solo era produced massive hits “Seven” and “Standing Next to You,” with album “GOLDEN” breaking streaming records worldwide.
